I am married with four children who have families of their own and have ten grandchildren.
My work over the years has been with local government in Melbourne and following our move back to Sydney was employed with the Department of Defence stationed at Richmond for over nineteen years.
We have lived at Oakville since 1987 and my particular interests are the history and heritage of the Hawkesbury, working as a volunteer at Hawkesbury Museum and being a member of Hawkesbury City Council’s Heritage Advisory Committee. I am interested in Theology and have been involved in our local church committees. I am also a member of Hawkesbury Combined Probus.
I have been a member of Pitt Town Progress Association since 2005 and following from that became the Treasurer at the AGM in 2007. This role entails looking after the income and expenditure of the Progress and preparing the books for audit prior to the AGM each financial year. A monthly financial report is presented to the meeting which is held on the 1st Monday of the month. We participate in donations to other bodies and submit a remittance to the NSW Fair Trading as part of our statutory obligations.
