The Pitt Town Progress Association Inc. is registered under the Associations Incorporations Act 2009.

The aims and objects of the Pitt Town Progress Association are:

To act professionally and ethically as a properly constituted and incorporated body, in public matters affecting the welfare of members of the Association and residents of Pitt Town and district.
To be the voice of members and the wider community in dealings with governments, statutory authorities and other organisations.
To work for the community to achieve infrastructure, community facilities and development of Pitt Town and district that improves the quality of life of the community and the environment.
The activities of the Association specifically exclude pursuit or involvement in the commercial, political or financial interests of an individual person, except when those activities directly benefit the wider community.
