The weather was a perfect setting for a crowd of well over one thousand plus people, to attend and pay their respects at the 2022 Anzac Day service at Pitt Town. There were displays of ex-Army Land Rovers, uniformed soldiers from WW1 and more. Representatives from Federal, State and local governments laid wreaths as did representatives from Windsor Police, Arndell College, Pitt Town Public School and many local organisations and family members.
The Anzac Day Planning Committee wishes to express their sincere thanks to Hawkesbury City Council, IGA Pitt Town, and many generous local residents and businesses for their financial support and donations. Thank you to the The Bird in Hand Inn for the generous breakfast supplied after the service. They also wish to thank all those who participated in the service and the multitude of volunteers who gave their time and resources, without which, the event could not have been possible.
